Obituary of Arlo James Smith

Smith: Arlo James a resident of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Saturday, September 13, 2014 at the age of 94. Born in Howard Twp. son of the late Ira and Ethel (Balmer) Smith. Arlo was a veteran of WWII, a retiree from CPR and was Past President and a life member of Royal Canadian Legion Br.# 252 Bothwell. Loving father of David Smith (Lynda) of Cottam, James Smith (Marie) of Bothwell and Phyllis Reid (Steve) of Kingston. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Bea Osborne, Ruth Gosnell and Donna Baverstock (Gord). Predeceased by a daughter Kathryn (1998) and three sisters. The Smith family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Tuesday from 2- 4pm and 7- 9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at 11am . Interment Bothwell Cemetery.
