Obituary of Edith Irene Evans

Evans: Edith Irene (Oliver) a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday, November 16, 2020 at the age of 84. Born in Kent Bridge, ON., daughter of the late Harry and Alice (Brooks) Oliver. Beloved wife of the late Norman Evans (2015).  Loving mother of Janet Rumble (Mike) of Thamesville, Debbie Francoeur (late Ed) of Dresden, Barbara Evans (Mark) of Chatham and Terry Evans (Cathy) of Toronto. Loving grandmother of Jason, Connie, Kris, Tony, Candice, Felicia, Clarissa, and great-grandchildren Tabitha, Tanisha, Brody, Madison, Carter, Xavier and Trinity. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Mary Burdan (Late Gordon), Alva Oliver (Late Ted), Jean Oliver (Late Ray), George Oliver (late Brenda). Predeceased by and infant sister Laura Jean Oliver. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Evans family will receive friends and relatives at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, 679 North St., Dresden on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. until the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Blackburn Cemetery. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, those hoping to attend the visitation and or funeral service must schedule a time by registering online at https://signup.com/go/hXSDMGn. No one will be permitted at the visitation and funeral without a scheduled time. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask.
