Tew: John Earl a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at the age of 71. Born in Dresden, son of the late Earl and Phoebe ( McWha) Tew. John loved to garden, play his guitar  and sing with his band “The Pubcrawlers”, fishing off the dock and working with his hands building things. Predeceased by his wife Mary Lee (Bourdeau) 2001. Soulmate and  best friend of Heather Bedell. Loving father of Jason Tew (Michelle), Jillian Hanlon (Sean), Rebecca Muttart (Stephen), Andrew Tew (Jennifer), Jason Bedell, and Kimberley Depencier (Dave). Loving grandpa of Olivia, Kassidy, Madelyn, Peyton, Carter, Sydney, Avah, Ethan, Briar, Arden, Brynn, and Beau. Dear brother and brother-in-law of of Eva (Roselle) of Strathroy, Flora (Kimber) of Chatham and Bonnie. Dear son-in-law of Joan Pray (Late Donald). Predeceased by brothers Edward (Ted), Robert (Bob) and sister Ann (Zelina). At John's request cremation will take place. Donations in memory of John to the Pub Crawler Band ( Please make cheques payable to Chris Masterson  c/o Chris Masterson 9508 Fairview Line, Chatham N7M 5J4), or etransfer to Heather Bedell at ebony56@sympatico.ca would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Badder Funeral Home and Reception Centre, Dresden.
