Born April 13th, 1942 in Faial, Azores, Portugal but a long time resident of Dresden, Ontario.
Manuel enjoyed his time fishing, he took great pride in his garden, but truly relished the friends he made during his time in the Chatham-Kent area. His community brought him much joy thru the relationships built with his neighbours of many years.
There will be no public visitation or service at this time. The family has chosen cremation to take place and will hold a mass in Manuel’s honour in the future. Manuel’s remains will then be taken to his place or birth (Faial, Azores) to be placed near his daughter Helena, who left him too soon.
In lieu of flowers, the family would graciously appreciate donations to St Joseph’s Hospice of Sarnia Lambton. Arrangements entrusted to the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre, Dresden
