Obituary of Roger Andre Deprez

Deprez, Roger Andre a resident of Dresden, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg on Monday November 25, 2019 at the age of 87. Born in Pain Court, son of the late Jules and Lucy (Portier) Deprez. Beloved husband of 64 years to Zulma (Verstraete) Deprez. Loving father of Louise and Don Walker of Charing Cross, Deb and Don Casier of Thamesville, Rick Deprez of Chatham and predeceased infant son David George Deprez. Proud Grandfather of Micheal Walker (Stephanie), Erica Whitehead (Scott), Amanda Walker (Kevin), Derrick Casier, Dara Mcquarrie (Tyler). Proud Great Grandfather to Kristian, Kaiden, Breydon, Daniel, Kylan, Allison, and Sadie. Dear brother and brother-in-law of (late Charlie) and Mary Deprez of Ridgetown, Marie and Antoine Vereecken of Chatham, Dianne Feys (late Gilbert) of Bothwell. Predeceased by sister Dorothy Deprez, and brothers and sisters-in-law Rose and Joe Vereecken, Andre and Lena Verstraete, Janette and Bill Korpan. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Roger was an active member of the Knights of Columbus of Dresden for several years and then became an honorary member. The Deprez family will receive family and friends at the Badder Funeral Home & Reception Centre 679 North St, Dresden on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated from St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church,  698 Tecumseh St., Dresden on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Paul's Cemetery, Thamesville.
