Obituary of Mary Irene Cross

Cross: Mary Irene (Jamieson) of Newbury; formerly of Cairo, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Community Villa, Newbury on Monday, November 11, 2019 at the age of 83. Mary was born in Aldborough Township, daughter of the late Stuart & Margaret (McIntyre) Jamieson. Mary was a proud loving wife, mother and dedicated registered nurse. Beloved wife of the Late Douglas J. Cross (2016). Loving mother of Gwendolyn Lumley (Carl) of Watford, Ian Cross (Predeceased in 2000), Heather Saari (Bernie) of North Bay, Tracey Childs (Francis) of Dresden and Sandra Pappas (Brian) of Winnipeg. Proud grandma of Jeanette, John, Jessica (Brandon), Cord, Ninnea (Daniel), Malcolm, Jamie (Predeceased in 1997), Dana (Greg), Nathan (Allison) and Scott (Julie) her great grandchildren and grandpets. Dear sister-in-law of Charles Smith and Ross (Mary) Cross.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers James (Marilyn) Jamieson, Duncan Jamieson, sisters Margaret Smith, Betty Jean Krehbiel (Myron), sister-in-law Marjorie Thompson and brother-in-law Murray (Grace) Cross.  The Cross family will receive family and friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home, 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Thursday from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The Funeral service will be held on Friday, November 15,2019 at 1:00 PM. Interment Bothwell Cemetery.
