Obituary of Dorothy Ilene Shaw

Shaw: Dorothy (Mallette), formerly of R.R.#6 Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at the age of  87. Beloved wife of the late James "Jim" Shaw (2007). Loving mother of Brenda Harrop (Allen Brown) of Chatham, Barb Shaw of London, Bob and Jan Shaw of Thamesville, Bev and Tina Shaw of London, Becky and Randy Dulong of Thamesville, Brad Shaw of Chatham. Loving grandma of Chris Harrop (Lisa), Lindsay Smulders (Josh), Matt Harrop, Rob Shaw (Tasha), Jessica Shaw (Steve Vandenheuvel), Jay Shaw (Carly), Jeremy Shaw (Brandy) and Shantel Keenleyside (Jonathon), Josh Dulong ( fiancé Cassie Triano) and Shawna Dulong (Joel VanKesteren), Olivia Shaw (Shane Rompaey) and Derek Shaw. and great -grandchildren Cody, Roewen, Brynn, Aubrey, Irelynn, Harper, Baya, Harley, Alexander, Madison, Lillian, Hunter, Nolan, and Landon. Dear sister of Shirley Stapleton. Predeceased by a son-in-law Wray Harrop, sisters Ada Hewitt, Jean Martin, and brothers Lloyd, Fred, Stan, Harvey, and Morley. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Shaw family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 11:00 AM. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
