Cartier, Stella Lorraine: formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens on December 5th, 2010, at 92 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Henry Cartier (1984). She was born in Dover Twp., September 19, 1918, daughter of the late Wilfred and Ida (Charron) Rose. Loving mother of Jim Cartier. Lorraine will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Nicole McKerrall (Mark), Wilfrid Rose (Lori), Monique Shine (Greg), Kyle, Michael and Melissa Cartier, her great grandchildren Matthew and Michael McKerrall, Jessica, Erica, Kristopher Rose and Julien Shine, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dear sister of Cecilia Bechard, Evelyn Demers, Clara Jelovic (Anthony), Harvey Rose (Doreen) and Herman Rose (Jeannette). Lorraine was predeceased by two infant daughters and 2 sons, Peter Rose (1969) and Roland Cartier (2005), 2 sisters Loretta Richie, Verna Sylvain and 1 brother, Raymond Rose. Friends and family will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday December 7th, 2010 from 10am – 10:45am with the funeral mass to follow at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Thamesville at 11am. Interment St. Paul’s Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com
