Williams: Ruth (Miller) a resident of R.R.# 3 Florence, passed away suddenly at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus, Chatham on Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at the age of 78. Beloved daughter of the late Roy and Zella (Coneybeare) Miller. Ruth graduated from the Public General School of Nursing in Chatham, and had nursed at Sydenham Hospital, Wallaceburg and Four Counties Health Services, Newbury before retiring in 1986. She was an active member of the Oakdale United Church and U.C.W. Loving wife and best friend of Donald Williams. Loving mother of Anne Burke (Keith) of Chatham, Brenda Snyder (Vic) of Cambridge, David Williams of R.R.# 2 Croton. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Stephanie Wolfe (Jamie), Robert , Sarah and Celeste Williams, Adam and Andrew Snyder, and great-grandchildren Joshua and Ethan Wolfe. Predeceased by a son Gerald Williams (1986), a sister Myrtle and brothers Grant, Glenn and Harold. The Williams family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday 2 – 4pm and 7 – 9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, April 8, 2010 at 2:00pm with Pastor Don Macpherson officiating. Cremation with Interment in Blackburn Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Oakdale United Church or the New Dawn-Euphemia Community Centre.
