Cornell: Annie L. (Culnan), formerly of Thamesville, passed away at Meadow Park Nursing Home, Chatham, on Monday, January 13, 2014 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Frank Cornell. Loving mother of Roy and Diane Cornell of R.R.#1 Thamesville, John Cornell of R.R.#4 Thamesville. Loving grandmother of Chris Cornell (Mandi) and Mark Cornell. Sadly missed by great-grandchildren Lomax, Reid, and Wesley. Dear sister of Tom Culnan of Toronto. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Genevieve Doher, Teresa Clarke, Margaret Rose Shaw, and brothers Joseph, John “Dutch”, and Charlie Culnan. The Cornell family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday, January 14, 2014 from 10am – 10:45am. The Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St. Paul’s Church, Thamesville at 11am with Fr. Ray Lawhead as Celebrant. Interment St. Paul’s Cemetery. If desired donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
