Rose: John “Jack” Charles a resident of Dresden, passed away Saturday, April 28, 2012 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Wallaceburg at the age of 89. He was born in Chatham Township, son of the late William Harvey and Madeline Grace (Tiffin) Rose. Beloved husband of the late Mary (Truesdale) Rose (1992). Jack grew up in Chatham Township and lived in Florence, Zone Centre, Chatham and most recently Dresden. He attended First Regular Baptist Church in Dresden for past five years. Jack was employed for 26 years at Sydenham Valley Hatchery, Florence and 24 years at Bucko Farm Equipment, Chatham. Throughout his life Jack played in the Rosebuds band with family and friends for dances, weddings and Nursing Homes throughout the area. For the past several years he played his violin in a group known as the Swingers from the Active Life Style Centre that plays in the loval nursing homes. Loving father of Kathryn Rose of London, John Rose and his wife Lolita of Cambridge. Proud grandfather of Darlene, Robert, Bernadette, Jhona, Jovita and Joven. Loving great grandfather of Danielle, Stephanie, Leah, Haley, Mason and Jackson. Dear brother of Margaret French and husband Bev of Chatham. The Rose family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria Street, Thamesville on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 11a.m. Interment in Mayhew-Mt.
