Stephens: Jean Marion (Williams), formerly of Harwich Twp., passed away peacefully at Meadow Park Nursing Home,,Chatham on Sunday, May 13, 2012 at the age of 92. Born in Kent Bridge, daughter of the late Martyn and Olive (French) Williams. Jean had farmed all her life in Harwich Twp on the River Road with her late husband Albert Stephens (1990), and was a life member of the Eastern Star.  Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Bonnie Sloan (Ralph), Beth Tedford, Barb Spicer, Bert Stephens (Wilma), Beckie Borst (Bob), Connie Stephens. Loving grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Mary Stephens and John Williams. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her son William “Bill” Stephens, son-in-law Ross Tedford, sister-in-law Mae Stritmatter, brothers-in-law Marion Stritmatter and Lee Stephens. The Stephens family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 at 11:00am. Interment Bethel Cemetery.
