Obituary of Georgina Ethel Long

Long: Georgina "Jean" (Secord), passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital, on Friday, August 16, 2019 at the age of 95. Born in Howard Twp., daughter of the late Wilfred and Clara (Emerson) Secord. Beloved wife of the late Maurice Long. Loving mother of Susan Baynham (Wayne) of Port Dover, Ron Long (Kirsten) of Lynden ON. Jean will be sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Agnes Gosnell (late Walter) of Dutton, and Bill Secord (Carol) of R.R.#3 Thamesville. Predeceased by her brother Jack Secord. At Jean's request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place. Interment at Sherman Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date.
