Obituary of Beverley Emmaline Butler

Beverley Emmaline Butler (nee Bloom) a life long resident of Dawn Township passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019 at Lambton Meadowview Villa, Petrolia at the age 84. Born in Florence, daughter of the late Lloyd and Ila (Smith) Bloom. Beloved wife of Jim Butler for 62 years. Loving mother of Mike, Dale (Darlene), Scott (Kelly) and Shawn (Jen). Cherished grandma of Cody (Lisa), Dwight, Marty (Stefan), Justin, Jordyn, Carey and Mac. Sadly missed by 5 great grandchildren Ethan, Madison, Hailey, Bentley & James. Dear sister of Norma Holmes (Roy) and Luella Babcock (the late Jim). Predeceased by sister Muriel McFadden (the late Morley). Sister-in-law to Betty Annett (the late Wally), Mary-Katherine Winder (Jim), predeceased by sister-in-law Gerry White (Norman), and Laura McGuire (the late Bill). Bev loved her family and loved spending time enjoying the great outdoors. She was an avid gardener and spent many hours walking through the bush in the spring/summer months. Family and friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday from 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 1 p.m. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or charity of your choice.
