Obituary of Raymond Alvin Jackson

Jackson: Raymond a resident of Chatham passed away peacefully with his wife and son by his side at his home on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 88. Born in Chatham, son of the late Alvin and Maudie (Williston) Jackson. Ray is predeceased by his first wife Patrecia "Pat" (Eaton) Jackson and is survived by his wife Wendy (Bishop) Jackson.  Loved father of Rev. Bruce Jackson (Melody). Cherished grandpa of Mikayla, Sophia, Asher and Felicity. Dear brother of Charlie Jackson (Marilyn) and Dorothy Cook. Dear brother-in-law of Jeannette Pake and Mary Jackson. Sadly missed by his Aunt Shirley Mahood (Stan). Also survived by special niece Jennifer Brown and nephews Phil and Michael. Ray will be fondly remembered by the Bishop  and Eaton Families. Predeceased by brother Jack, nephew Richard and niece Christine. Raymond joined IOOF in 1949 at the age of 19, following in his father's footsteps. Raymond was also a member of the Fairport Rebekah Lodge #322 Dresden and Comet Lodge #97, Merlin. The Jackson family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Monday from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The Oddfellows will hold a memorial service Monday at 5:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the funeral home on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 11 a.m. Interment in Arnold Cemetery, Louisville.
