Mallette: Alice (Authier), a resident of Thamesville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at the age of 78. Born in Tilbury East Twp., daughter of the late Ernest and Ruth (Schmenk) Authier. Beloved wife of Gerald “Jerry” Mallette. Loving mother of Ron Mallette (Barb), Mike Mallette, Carol Stenhouse (Wayne), Linda McFarlane (John), and Donna Mallette (Clyde). Loving grandma to Alana, Jeff, Renee (Mike), Dan (Marieve), Jodi, Kim, Darren, Jordan, Sarah, Jesse, Nicole and Danielle. Predeceased by son Jimmy and grandson Aaron. Dear sister of William “Bill” Authier (Rose Mary), Robert “Bob” Authier (Dorothy), John Authier (Gerry). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. The Mallette family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Prayers will be Wednesday evening at 8:15pm. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul’s Roman Catholic Church, Thamesville on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11:00am. Cremation with Interment in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Canadian Cancer Society.
