McGuire: Lorraine (Baverstock), a resident of R. R. #5 Thamesville, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham, on Tuesday, February 6, 2017 at the age of 80. Born in Zone Township, daughter of the late Almer and Bessie Mae (Stocking) Baverstock. Predeceased by her first husband, Glen Huctwith (2000). Beloved wife of Donald McGuire. Loving mother of Patty Burgess (Ken), Robert Huctwith, and Glenda Quinn and step-mother of Patrick (Wendy) McGuire, Ted McGuire and Wendy Lynn McGuire. Sadly missed by grandchildren Sara Knox (C.J.); Richard Vlasschaert (Kelly); Kevin Burgess (Kristin); Erica Ferris (Al); Robert Huctwith (Jen); Christopher Huctwith; Tiffany Huctwith; Rachelle Dubois and Stephane Dubois and step-grandchildren Kyle McGuire, Elizabeth McGuire, Lucy McGuire and Maeve McGuire and 15 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Shirley Robinson (Don), Audrey Johnston (Randy), Delbert Baverstock (Thelma) and Melvin Baverstock (Marilyn). Dear sister-in-law of Donna Marshall. Predeceased by a brother, Garry Baverstock and his late wife Doris, brother-in-law Bruce Marshall and great-grandson Emmett Ferris. Friends and family will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday from 2:00 PM- 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Grace Lee officiating. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. If desired donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Ontario Lung Association would be appreciated.
