Peters: Margaret Olivia (Huff) a member of the Delaware Nation at Moraviantown, passed away peacefully at Riverview Gardens, Chatham, surrounded by her family on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the age of 92. Born in Chatham, daughter of the Late John and Lillian (Fox) Huff. Beloved wife of the late John Peters Sr. Loving mother and mother-in-law of Yvonne Wright (Charles), Charlene Charrette (Larry), Corrine Cartwright (Anthony), Amy Caron (Luc Belanger), Roberta Peters (Dennis Huff), John Peters (Late Carla), Jason Peters (Late Rhonda), Patsy Peters. Sadly missed by her grand-children Gregory, Ryan, Jonathan, Charlie Jr., George, Cooper, Colin, Corrie, Karl, Jamie-Sue, Jeremiah, Joshua, Jacob, Christine, Lacey, Brigen, Junior, Danielle, Betty, Tegan, John Henry, 53 great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her children Karen (1952), Greg (2024), Sherry (2020), Susan (2026), Mary Lou (2012), grandchildren Grace, Marty, Elmer, Joey, siblings Charles, William, Josephine, Ramona and Jean and Step-Mother Cecelia Huff. The Peters family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday July 14, 2026 from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 1:30 PM with Rev. Elaine Wilcox officiating. Interment Moraviantown Cemetery.
