Dear Diane, Darlene, Brian and Brad & family. I’m so sorry to hear that Helen passed away. Unfortunately we have lost contact over the past years. Tom and I always enjoyed talking with her when we did see Helen and Jim. She had a laugh that was truly hers. No one could compare. As the obit says she was such a positive person and so much fun to be around. Enjoy all those wonderful memories, I know we will. Hugs to all of you.

Dear Jim, Di, Dar, Brian, Brad and families
Helen was an unforgettable lady. All the laughs, and fun times our families had together, and what a laugh. Helen always had a kind word and a hug. My heartfelt condolences go out to you all. It was truly a blessing to know your Mom. Such fond memories of she and Mom and their shenanigans years ago! To sum it up in one word “Laughter “!
I also recall when I started high school she told me to come for lunch anytime even if no one home! Her door was always open! I made tomato soup a few times!

In 2019, while I was in London for my early chemo treatments for the exact same disease that Helen had, she, along with Diane and Darlene, were there for an appointment the same day. On their way out, they stopped by my bed to offer words of support and encouragement, which was very much appreciated. As they were leaving, Helen said to me, “Call if you want to borrow one of my wigs!” Just proves, laughter IS the best medicine. In fact, I’m smiling as I write this. Rest in peace Helen, and my condolences to the family.
