Aunt Jean, you will be greatly missed by so many. You always made us feel so welcome when we dropped by for visits. Who could ever forget your passion for cutting grass, dancing and baking. Those cinnamon buns were so tasty. Oh how you cared about your neighbours and they you.

I have such fond memories of visiting with your mom when we were teenagers and she was always so generous with the compliments. She had class and style like nobody else , and a lot of great advice. 50 years later when I would run into her here or there , she was exactly the same ! Jean was such a dear friend and confidante to my Mother, Eva Patterson. I believe they spoke almost daily for years and years.
I fondly remember many times while visiting at Moms, Jean would call and towards the end of their conversation Mom would pass me the phone and say, "Jean wants to say hello". We'd have a short visit and it would always end with Jean telling me, "You behave!", followed by a chuckle , then I replying "You behave too Jean!" :)
Her memory will always brings a smile.

My memories are mostly from me as a little girl, running down to visit from Aunt Phyllis's or attending someone's bridal shower in the back yard. I was enamored by her sense of style and calm demeanor. There were times she was the supply teacher at school and I felt that she'd come find me to say hi even if she was in another part of the school. Might not have been true but I definitely felt loved by her.
