Obituary of Irene Pearl Jackson
Jackson: Irene (DeLoof) formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Beattie Manor Retirement Home, Wardsville on Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at the age of 86. Born in Blenheim, daughter of the Late Raymond and Ruby (Alexander) DeLoof. Irene was a member of the Community of Christ, Wabash. Beloved wife of the Late James “Jim” Jackson. Loving mother of Brian Jackson (Michelle Hanna), Barry Jackson (Brunella), Pam Mooney (Glenn).Sadly missed by grandchildren Robyn (Brent), Samantha, James Jr. (Amy), Josh (Lauren), Ryan (Melody),Marlena (Shane), Eric (Chelsea), and great-grandchildren Ayla, Weston, Scarlett and Harper. Dear sister of Jeanette Johnston (Joe). Lovingly remembered by several half-brothers and sisters, Carol Dubois and family, Keith and Kerrie Jaques and their families. Predeceased by foster parents Aaron and Jennie Mitchell, several brothers and sisters and several step siblings and half brother. The Jackson family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Saturday, January 31, 2026 from 11:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Private Family Interment at Arnold Cemetery, Louisville. A light luncheon will be held at the Community of Christ Church, Wabash following the Interment, all are welcome.
