I only met Dorthy fairly recently when she visited the Thamesville museum. She kindly donated an artifact and shared the extraordinary stories of her father. I was saddened to hear of her passing. My condolences to the family.

Calvin and family,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Dorothy’s passing. May the cherished memories you hold of her bring comfort and strength in the days and weeks ahead. I feel truly fortunate to have met Dorothy a few years ago, and I will always treasure the memory of my family research trip to southern Ontario, where her generosity — and her wonderful cooking — were shared so freely with me and my fellow researcher.
