I worked with Eileen at The City of Chatham and quickly realized that she was the epitome of organization and professionalism. My sincere condolences to the family and friends who are left to mourn her passing. May Eileen rest in peace now that she’s gone on to her great reward.

I am so sorry to hear about Eileen. I grew up at 25 Taylor Ave. Her father use to tease me all the time. They were a beautiful family and Eileen always stopped and talked to me when ever we would meet in later years. We also went to the same church for a few years so we did have a closer relationship. She was a very sincere lady and we have lost another good one.

I just learned of Eileen's passing tonight and pray God's comfort for her cousins and friends who loved her. My best wishes to the family at this time. I know my mom (Elsie) and Helen (McKerral) and Eileen did many things together at the church and outside. They travelled to Stratford Theatre together many times. She was always such a lovely lady! Always interested in how others were doing. She will be missed I’m sure

I was so sorry to learn today that Eileen had passed. Unfortunately, I have only just seen the notice so missed paying my respects at her funeral. Eileen was lovely. I knew Eileen from working with the City of Chatham. She was a very kind and caring person. My sincere condolences to her family.

I am so very saddened about Eileen’s passing. Eileen was one of my residents I took to the hairdresser every Thursday morning. She was the sweetest lady…we had a mutual friend, Kay Tiffin who worked at the municipality as well. Lots of laughs reminiscing about their times together. Rest in peace Eileen, you have earned your rest.

I met Eileen at Riverview Gardens, what a beautiful smile she had for everyone that was in her presence. Eileen was truly thrilled to see and talk to all friends, old and new. After spending time with her, you always left with a smile, she made you feel so welcome.

Sorry to hear about Eileen’s passing. My deepest condolence to her family, she often talked about her family with great love. I was her neighbour at St Andrew’s Terrace and enjoyed her company very much , going to the concerts in Tecumshe Park and the concerts next door Saturday at Seven. Also being on the board of St Andrew’s Terrace together and the many activities at the Terrace. She was a wonderful person. In spirit I was with you all as I watched the funeral on line
