Obituary of Peter John White
White: Peter John, a resident of Highgate, passed away peacefully at Four Counties Health Services, Newbury on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at the age of 85. Born in England, son of the Late Peter Sr. and Elsie White. Peter White was a family man leading his family from England to Canada. Once settled in Canada he and his wife Brenda bought their first house in the city of Oshawa by the lake; being from Liverpool they were attracted to water. They bought homes in Orangeville, Mississauga and Hagersville. Peter spent his last days on his daughter Susan’s farm in Highgate, Chatham-Kent area. Peter was like a tourist in a new country exploring this great land with his family. In his work as a tool and die maker he found a slight defect in the tooling of the wings on Boeing's aircraft. The whole project had to be scrapped and retooled. If this was to go undetected or looked over in 10years, when the wings were changed, they would have been in danger of falling off in flight. Peter was also a Master Chess player. He taught his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren how to play. Peter White’s wishes were to have his body go to science. Peter will go on helping his community in death. It is heartfelt to lose a such great man. His family is comforted knowing he is with family and friends that passed before him. Beloved husband of Brenda (Kitchen) White. Loving father of Janet Danyluk (Michael), Susan Wilkinson (Timothy), Peter Mark White, and the Late Heather White (1994). Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Alexandria (Mathew), Ashlee (Erik), Victoria and Brittany and great-grandchildren Angelina, Elizabeth, Tyler, Sofia, Olivia, Max, Damian and Jack. Dear brother of Andrew, Jackie, Susan and Phillip. Also survived by son-in-law Mitchel Danyluk, Predeceased by his sisters Judy and Shirley. At Peter’s request, his body has been donated to science. His family will remember him privately. The Family asked that in lieu of flowers a donation may be made to Greyhound Supporters of the National Capital Region (c/o 86 Glamorgan Drive, Ottawa, ON K2L 1R4). Peter loved greyhounds and he and Brenda had a greyhound named, Chance, whom they loved dearly. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com. Arrangements entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville.
