Obituary of Johanna Heather Kahosed

Our youngest sister, born Kahosed, Johanna Heather, (married, Bird), a member of the Aamjiwnaang First Nation, Sarnia and originally of Squirrel Island of Walpole Island First Nation Bkejwanong Territory, passed away peacefully at Dearness Home, London on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 at the age of 64. Born in Sarnia, ON, youngest daughter of the late Dorothea Lola Williams-Kahosed and Howard Kahosed. Granddaughter of the late Emily Watson-Dodge-Williams and Sabine Williams. Johanna is survived by her siblings; Mona (Williams) Fletcher (Alberta), Maurice Williams (Washington State), Wendy Williams (Ontario), Antoinette Williams (Ontario), and Harvey Kahosed (USA). Also survived by Anthony Bird, Julie Bird, many nieces, nephews and hundreds of cousins.
Predeceased by siblings; Arthur Williams, Georgia Williams-Jacobs, April Williams-Noah, Howard Kahosed Jr. Predeceased by in-laws; Harvey M. Jacobs, John .T. Fletcher, Eric Noah, Dr. Mary (Kahosed).
Cremation has taken place. Immediate Family will remember her privately. Arrangements entrusted to the John C. Badder Funeral Home, Thamesville.
