Heather Crumb

Obituary of Heather Roberta Crumb

Heather Roberta Crumb (Wagner), beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025, leaving behind a life rich with love, laughter,  and unforgettable stories. Born on April 14. 1956, to Cal and Mary Wagner. Heather grew up in a lively and close-knit family that shaped the warmth and humor she carried throughout her life.

Heather was the devoted wife of the late Richard Crumb, her husband and the love of  her life, who passed away in 2017. Together they built a life grounded in love, family, and simple joys. She was a proud and loving mother to three children: Teena (Joe), Micheal (Tiffany) and Misty, who passed in 2019. Her greatest joy came from being "Grandma" to Tyler, Trevor, Brody, Chase, Kayla, Dylan, Ryan, and Kelsey - whom she loved with all her heart and spoke of often with pride and affection.

Heather was admired and cherished by her siblings: Linda (Dennis), Kathy (2010), Fred (2014) (Peg), David, Deb (2024) (David), Bonnie (Tom 2019), Tom (Sharon), and Aggie (2021). She thrived at family gatherings, where she was always ready with a story, a laugh, or a little mischief. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, sister and brother-in-laws.

She dedicated 41 years of her life to Webtec Foundry, where she formed lasting friendships and earned the respect of all who worked alongside her.

Heather loved curling up with a good book, watching movies - especially foreign films or ones featuring dinosaurs eating people (a favourite, believe it or not) and enjoying the simple, beautiful moments in life. She had a wonderful sense of humour and a deep appreciation for life's little adventures.

She often said that life was like a book with many chapters. And although this chapter has now come to an end, those who loved her find comfort in the many pages she filled with kindness, laughter, resilience, and unconditional love. Her story will continue to live one in the hearts of everyone she touched.

Family and friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, July 25 from 1-4 p.m. Private family interment in Shetland Cemetery will be held at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to Diabetes Canada.
