I have many special memories of your dad down here in Florida. He took me out on his boats with your mom & mine. He & i would go to car shows together too. He always had a story to tell. I'll never forget the trick he played on me when visiting in Canada. I tell that story often. He will be missed as much as we also miss your mom. Our prayers for you all to keep those memories with you always. Memories are what keeps them with us forever. Karen Wood

I would like to extend my deepest condolences to all the Family members in the loss your father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
Our family used to sharecrop tomatoes at the Craven farm, when you had to bend over to pick them.
My memories are having to go back to the fields to pickup the baskets, and take them to the hanger as frost was forecast.
May you find solace in the happy memories Charles shared with you in his Life.

Ted and I would like to express our sincere condolences at this time. Ted, as a young man, admired Chuck and Chuck continued to be one of his mentors throughout his life, whether it was their mutual love of flying, farming, or holiday life. Ted and I both appreciated that Chuck and Jean always stayed in touch, stopped in to visit, and took an interest in our lives. He will be missed.

My condolences to the entire family!
I have so many unforgettable memories of Chuck, there’s not enough room on this page to list!
He taught me how to fly taildraggers, ski planes and every airplane he owned. I eventually was able to teach him (actually give him ideas of how to safely fly) a twin engine airplane! He already knew how to fly them! We flew all over Ontario, picking up or delivering all types of aircraft together. What fantastic memories!
He is the reason that I ended up getting my Airline Transport Rating. When I got my Private Pilot License, I told him I would never get any higher ratings. He would have none of that and proceeded to book my commercial aviation medical! The rest is history!

The Glasgow kids have fond memories of times spent with the Craven family on both of our farms. Mom and Dad enjoyed flying too! Over the past few years I was pleased to re-connect with both you, Sheila, and Sharron, and your parents as you came for visits on your way through London. I’m so glad you did and I know what great care you took to watch over both of them. I enjoyed visits with Chuck and Jean and their kindness to us as we grew up. You have our deepest sympathies for the loss of your dear Dad. Suzanne Glasgow

Our condolences go out to the Craven family. I grew up with Dave, attending public school and then high school with him. We later had the same friend group with Jill and Dave. I remember attending a birthday party at the Craven farm where Chuck took all the kids for a plane ride over their house. Was my very first plane ride. Left an impression for sure.
