Roger being my daughters father in law we met often. He was a talker and like to show the many thing he had made, a drum some eggcups and so much more. I have one of those egg cup he made from wood and will cherish it. Rest in Peace Roger we will have many more great laughs someday. You will be so missed.

In July, Uncle Roger & Aunt Winnie attended my parents 60th wedding anniversary (very thankful to Eben for making that happen). On their way out, Uncle Roger did a little jig...which I will forever remember as my heart fills with love for this great man every time I think of him. Uncle Roger always had a smile on his face and a skip in his step. He was someone to always lend a hand when needed, lend an ear to anyone who needs, and lend a shoulder to lean on during trying times. Uncle Roger, we are truly blessed to have you in our lives and you will not be forgotten. Go, enjoy your afterlife with family in friends...as I know there will be many in heaven waiting with open arms to greet you. Love you forever and always in my heart.

I remember Uncle Roger teaching me how to Waltz. At one point he looked at my feet to double check I had my shoes on the right feet. He never gave up on me. RIP

Very saddened to hear about Roger. He was such a kind and gentle man. I talked with him often in the village. He loved plants and had these beautiful vines growing everywhere. He was always helping around the village, cleaning sidewalks of snow. He lived to stop and chat. A very interesting person. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace Roger.

One of the kindness man, husband, family person I have been glad to say I knew and had in my life.
Roger was always there to teach, help me without question in every thing I did. Roger & Winnie where always there to help me with raising my son and treating him like a grandson. I was very glad they both where able to attend James wedding.
Roger will be deeply missed by me.

Roger was very passionate about the many things he accomplished in life. I met him as a production worker at Vetri Glencoe. I was impressed that he worked from start to finish on the CN tower as a carpenter. Many had the heart to only go so high. I was constructing storage for Robin Hood flour mills at the time and seen it grow out of the ground. Many thanks Roger for many conversations we had. My condolences to the many family and friends. Best wishes to you all.
