Williams, Calvin L. a resident of Park St. Place, Dresden and formerly of RR 3 Florence passed away on Monday, June 14, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Sydenham Campus, Wallaceburg at the age of 80. Calvin was born in Florence son of the late Lyle and Mildred (Smith) Williams. Loving brother of Betty Elliott and her husband Jack of Florence. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews Carole Weatherstone of London, Neil Weatherstone of Croton, Janice and Paul LeBoeuf of Florence, Barry and Jill Elliott and their children Gemma and Finn of Burns Lake B.C. Predeceased by sister Doris Weatherstone ,a brother Donald Williams and brother-in-law Wilfred Weatherstone. The Williams family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The Florence I.O.O.F. Lodge # 196, will hold a service on Wednesday evening at 6:45pm. The funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 11:00am with Rev. Kathy Hawley officiating. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to Shetland United Church, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
