Tong: Nathan, formerly of R.R.# 2 Kent Bridge, passed away peacefully at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus, Chatham on Sunday, February 20, 2011 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine (Smedley) Tong (2006). Loving father of Diane and her husband Gerry “Cecil” Anderson of Chatham. Nate will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Crystal (Dan), Jerri-Lynn (Mel), Janet and great-grandaughter Willow. Loving father-in-law of Scott Robinson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a son Nathan Tong Jr. (1989), daughter Janet Robinson (1994) and brothers Ormond, Gordon, Wilfred, Virgil, and Carlyle Tong. The Tong family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 1:30pm with Rev. Tom Rutherford officiating. Interment Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
