Pumfrey, Mary Elizabeth a resident of Thamesville went home to be with her personal Lord and Saviour Monday, September 20, 2010 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham at the age of 83. She was born in Geneva, Illinois daughter of the late James and Annie (Morrison) Smith. Mary was a member of Praise Fellowship Church. Beloved wife of the late Howard VanSickle (1977) and the late Edward Pumfrey (1997). Loving mother of Charles and Sonyia VanSickle and Terry VanSickle. Dear sister of Bill Smith, Jim Smith, Harry Smith, Don Smith and Edith Nissline. Proud grandma of 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildrend and 7 great great grandchildren. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by brother Bud Smith and one great great grandchild. Family and Friends will be received at the John C. Badder Funeral Home 72 Victoria St.,Thamesville on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 1pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Darrell VanSickle officiating. Interment in Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation.
