Lapp: Mae, (Welch) , a resident of Thamesville, passed away suddenly at the C.K.H.A. Public General Campus, on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the age of 83. Born in Enniskillen Twp., daughter of the late Herbert and Stella (Meredith) Welch. Beloved wife of the late Jack Lapp (1991). Loving mother of Cheryl Wright (Ron) , Will Lapp (Lynn) all of Thamesville and John Lapp (Gail) of Sarnia. Loving Grandma of Tim Wright (Shelly), Tracy Swackhammer, Tricia Wright, Tara Prangley (Derek), Steve Lapp, Andrea Lapp, Kyle Lapp, and Stacey Lapp. Sadly missed by great-grandchildren Tyler and Cassidy Swackhammer and Zander Wright. Dear sister of James Welch (Rose) of Thamesville. Predeceased by a great-granddaughter Madison, a brother Sam Welch, and a sister-in-law Donna Welch. Mae will be also missed by her friends at The Thamesville United Church, U.C.W., Horticultural Society, Happy Club, Rebekah Lodge, and the Women’s Institute. The Lapp family will receive friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9pm. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 1pm with Pastor Lynn Brown officiating. Cremation with Interment in Mayhew-Mt.Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville at a later date. Donations may be made at the funeral home by cheque to the Thamesville United Church or the Thamesville Horticultural Society. Online condolences and donations may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com. The Tecumseh Rebekah Lodge # 293, Thamesville will hold a memorial service on Friday evening at 6:45pm.
