Sproule: Gladys (Watkins) formerly of Thamesville, passed away peacefully at Milton District Hospital on Friday, April 3, 2026 at the age of 106. Born in Usk, Wales, daughter of the Late Harry and Clara (Faultless) Watkins. Gladys was a former member of St. Stephens Anglican Church, Thamesville, she enjoyed gardening and was an avid Blue Jay fan. She loved to watch the children play in the school yard across from her home and was known for her baking. “The cookie jar was always full “. Beloved wife of the Late Milton “Mike” Sproule (2002). Loving mother and mother-in-law of Janet Vallecoccia (Late Tony), Late Gary Sproule (Karen), Doug Sproule (Beth) and Jim Sproule (Valerie). Sadly missed by grandchildren Scott (Patty), Kim (Brent), Sandra (Dale), Lee Ann, Catherine (Ryan) Andrea (Darcy), Emily (Chris), Claire (Spencer) and 18 great grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Predeceased by sisters Vera, Lillian, and Edie. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. The Sproule family will receive family and friends at the John C. Badder Funeral Home, 72 Victoria St., Thamesville on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 from 12:00 PM until the time of the funeral service at 1:30 PM. Interment Mayhew-Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Thamesville.
