Dear Matthews Family, I am so sorry to hear about Don's passing. He was a huge part of my childhood and I am so thankful for everything he did for me and my AHL career (Atom House League, just a little joke... ...Don would have liked that one.). Whenever I see the guys that I played Minor Hockey with, we all still talk about our Coaches and Don is always at the top. He was such a great Coach, and Gentleman, to us, even though it must have been like herding a bunch of cats. Thank you for everything Don and it was my honor to know you.
