I met Eilene when she came to work at Brooke . We often shared the same grade so we worked closely together. She and Lorne often held amazing staff parties in their drive shed that are still talked about today. After retirement, our friendship continued when I helped her on some quilting projects and joined her retired teachers' golf group. At her suggestion our group also cruised together around Hawaii and shared some great memories. She was a wonderful cook and baker and I still use some of her recipes today. Eilene was a kind and gentle soul who will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the entire Patterson family. I have many fond memories of Mrs Patterson as my teacher. Every month she would bake and decorate a cake to celebrate the birthdays that had taken place that month.
